How do I recover my username or password?

Note

 

If you do not know your username and password, then first retrieve my username, then retrieve my password.

If you are not receiving expected emails from Intel:

  • Wait, as emails may take up to 20 minutes to arrive.
  • Check your Spam or Junk folders.
  • If you have multiple email addresses, ensure you are checking the correct account

How do I unlock my account?

Intel accounts are locked after 10 unsuccessful attempts. Wait 10 minutes and try again.

If you are still unable to sign in, Reset your password

If you are not receiving expected emails from Intel, check your Spam or Junk folders.

How do I create a valid password?

Use:

Eight (8) to fifteen (15) characters

At least one alphabetic character (a-z, A-Z)

At least one numeric character (0-9)

At least one special character (see full table below) 

 

Do not use:

Non-English characters (e.g. µ β Ϊ é )

Your username

Three or more repeating characters (e.g. ‘1111’ , ‘aaa’)

Any email address on record for the account

A previous password

Leading or trailing spaces

How do I create a valid username?

Usernames are case sensitive and may contain letters, numbers, and these special characters:

period (.)

underscore (_)

hyphen (-)

at symbol (@)

If updating an existing username, sign in again after waiting a minute or two for the changes to apply.


Note: You may use an email address as your username.  However, if your email address should change, your username will remain unaffected unless you update it by signing into your Intel account.

Why do I keep getting the message ‘The username or password you entered was invalid’?

Check that your keyboard Caps Lock and Num Lock are off, and then retype your email and password.

If you have attempted forgot password and forgot username and you still get an error, proceed to re-register with the email that you used prior.

  2. Click on Alternate sign-in, you will see a Sign In screen displayed.
  3. Enter your login credentials.
  4. Once you click on Sign-in.
  5. You will receive an email verification request in 5-10 minutes in your inbox.
  6. Please complete the email verification.
