VHDL simulation is not supported for NCSim and Xcelium simulators in Intel® Agilex™ FPGA EMIF IP

    Description

    Due to a problem in prior version of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.3, compilation error occurs when NCSim and Xcelium simulators are used. VHDL simulation is not supported in NCSim and Xcelium simulators when generating EMIF IP for designs targeting  Intel® Agilex™ FPGAs.

    Resolution

    This issue has been fixed in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.3 and later versions.
