Contact the place of purchase to diagnose the issue. If the place of purchase determines the resolution will require a replacement part from Intel, the place of purchase will contact Intel Customer Support (ICS). ICS will work with the place of purchase to diagnose and verify the extended warranty eligibility and if the Intel NUC is covered, Intel may send a replacement part.

What are the current prices?

Contact your reseller for pricing.

Is the extended warranty (EW) offered in all geographical locations?

The EW is available anywhere the Intel standard warranty is available through qualified distributors. Each country’s standard terms and conditions apply.

A 1 or 2 year extension on the base 3-year warranty.

How is coverage verified?

Intel verifies the coverage by using the serial number and the SA number from the Intel NUC Chassis or motherboard.

Information Needed to Identify Your Intel® NUC When Requesting Warranty Support

Are products replaced by Intel identical to the original product purchased?

As noted in the Intel NUC warranty documentation, the Intel NUC may be repaired, replaced or refunded, but the replacement will be the same product code.

Can the EW be transferred to a new Intel NUC?

The warranty is non-transferable.

If a product is returned and a credit or refund is issued, will the corresponding EW be credited or refunded?

The distributor and reseller manage customer credits. If the product and EW are eligible for credit, a credit is provided to the distributor for both the product and the EW.

If the product is returned for replacement under the standard warranty, does replacing it affect the EW?

The serial number of the replacement product is transferred to the new product and inherits the standard warranty and EW eligibility dates.

After purchasing the EW, where can I register my Activation Key(s)?

An email will be sent with instructions on how to access the Intel Entitlements hub and to register your Activation Key(s). The serial number and the SA number of the Intel NUC(s) to be covered with the extended warranty will be needed to activate the extended warranty.

Note While registering the serial number, you receive the error: activation key is not valid for this hardware serial number provided or if there are other issues, contact: warrantyadmin@intel.com
