The information below provides the operating conditions for the Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory.
 

Form Factor:

  • 288-pin DDR4 DIMM compatible
  • 133.35 x 31.25 mm
  • DIMM-to-DIMM pitch spacing down to 0.35” (8.9 mm) nominal spacing
    • Note: Recommended DIMM pitch for Intel is .37” (9.4 mm).
  • DDR4 DIMM speeds (common): 2133/2400/2666/2933
  • Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory speed: 2666 MT/s


Operating Power:

  • 128GB: 12W, 15W
  • 256GB: 12W, 15W, 18W
  • 512GB: 12W, 15W, 18W


Operating Temperature:

  • Unconstrained performance 0 - 83°C
  • Host controller throttling at 83°C
  • Thermal trip shutdown at 85°C

Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory is enabled according to a subset of processors primarily enabled by the Gold and Platinum tiers.

  1. Go to Advanced Search
  2. Click the PROCESSORS from filters on the top.
  3. Click the CHOOSE A FILTER Box and select Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory Supported from the drop-down menu.
  4. On the right box, click the selected value drop-down menu on the right and choose YES.
  5. Select additional sub-filters to refine the search. Other useful search filters include:
  • Family = Intel® Xeon® Processors
  • Sockets Supported
  • # of Cores
  • # of Threads
  • Lithography
  • TDP
