TA-1134: Failure to launch Remote Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) and serial-over-LAN (SOL) due to JAVA certificate expired (PDF) PDF icon
Intel has received some reports from customers of remote KVM and SOL launch problem through the embedded Web server (EWS) on the identified affected products. The symptom is an error from Java indicating the application can't be launched because the signing certificate in the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) firmware 1.43.660a4315 or older version has expired until April 2018.

The certificate used to sign the Java applications in the BMC firmware 1.43.660a4315 or older version was expired until April 2018. Intel code sign (ECSS) tools create this certificate. These tools have one signing process problem and didn’t create an expected certificate with a valid enough time frame. If the BMC firmware 1.43.660a4315 or older version is using this certificate, you can’t launch remote KVM or SOL after April 2018.
