The open-source Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) enables optimized communications operations on Intel® architecture. DPDK has demonstrated ability to scale performance as processor core count and performance increase; workloads, such as Vector Packet Processing (VPP) IPsec, benefit from this enhanced performance.
