Purpose

This download record provides options for updating the BIOS for Intel® NUC Compute Element CM11EBv716W and CM11EBv58W (supports Intel® vPro®).


Note:

Do not use this BIOS for Intel® NUC Compute Element CM11EBi716W, CM11EBi58W, CM11EBi38W and CM11EBC4W

Which file should I choose?

  • Express BIOS Update [EBTGLMIV.0072.EBU.exe] - Self-extracting Windows*-based update file, designed to be used on Windows systems.
  • F7 BIOS update [EBV0072.CAP] - .CAP file to be used for F7 BIOS Update method. It requires a USB flash device.
  • UEFI BIOS update [EBTGLMIV.0072.UEFI.zip] - Allows you to update the BIOS from the EFI Shell. It requires a USB flash device.
  • BIOS Recovery [EBTGLMIV.0072.RECOVERY.zip] - In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted, it's possible the BIOS may be left in an unusable state. Use the recovery BIOS update to recover from this condition. It requires a USB flash device. Follow the recovery instructions in the Readme file.

Known Errata:

  • BIOS EBV0068 and later may require flashing the *.CAP file twice to ensure the ME firmware can be updated properly when the onboard BIOS version is lower than 0065.
  • Please use recovery method to update to this BIOS version to include the Realtek public hash key in ME firmware.
