Standardize Lifesaving Technologies

According to the World Health Organization, 1.35 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes. We will collaborate with our industry and ecosystem partners to advance the adoption of technology-neutral safety standards to reduce traffic accidents globally.

Revolutionize Health and Safety

We will work with others to accelerate cures for diseases; improve healthcare access and affordability; and build smarter, safer workplaces. Our Pandemic Response Technology Initiative, for example, aims to improve the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.

We will increase women in technical roles to 40%, double the number of women and underrepresented minorities in senior leadership, and ensure that inclusive leadership practices and accountability are embedded in our culture globally.

Drive Industry-Wide Action Through a New Global Inclusion Index

We will work with other companies to create a Global Inclusion Index to align on common definitions and metrics to accelerate the adoption of inclusive business practices and track progress.

Make Technology Fully Inclusive and Expand Digital Readiness

We aim to partner with 30 governments and 30,000 institutions worldwide to empower more than 30 million people with AI skills training for current and future jobs. The Intel® AI for Youth program, for example, empowers students to learn while creating their own social impact projects.


Be a global leader in sustainability and enable our customers and others to reduce their environmental impact through our actions and technology.

Advance Sustainable Global Manufacturing Practices

By 2030, we will achieve net positive water use, 100% renewable power, zero total waste to landfill, and additional absolute carbon emissions reductions, even as we grow our manufacturing capacity.

We will create a collective approach to reducing emissions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry and increase the use of technology to reduce climate impact in global manufacturing.

Achieve Carbon-Neutral Computing

We will work with our customers and others to transform product energy use and apply technology to reduce computing-related climate impacts across the global economy. This will include collaboration with PC manufacturers to build the most sustainable and energy-efficient PC on the planet⁠—one that minimizes carbon, water, and waste in its design and use.
