Preparing the Critical Thinkers of Tomorrow

Student Research

Intel believes that recognizing exceptional student research fosters a passion for science and engineering that helps drive the future of innovation.

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public, is the world’s largest pre-college science research competition.Through a global network of local, regional, and national science fairs, each year approximately 7 million students around the world have the opportunity to showcase their projects.

Annually, more than 1,500 finalists from 70 countries, regions, and territories are invited to Intel ISEF in the United States to exhibit and present their independent research. These finalists compete for over $3 million in awards and scholarships.

Since Intel ISEF began in 1997, more than 700 students from the Asia Pacific Region have participated, with more than 350 receiving awards for their projects.
